Didactic objectives

Today we are going to present our objectives for the learning situation, which we will develop during the different sessions in the classroom.

The objectives are classified into three groups: those related to knowledge, those related to skills, and those related to attitudes. We have tried to ensure that the objectives in our learning situation are balanced across these three categories. The objectives are as follows:

  • To enumerate the emotions.

  • To classify emotions into primary and secondary.

  • To define the concept of empathy.

  • To distinguish positive and negative behaviours. 

  • To recognize empathic and non-empathic behaviors.

  • To establish a relation between an emotion and a facial expression. 

  • To identify different emotions in oneself.

  • To identify different emotions in others

  • To use digital tools to identify emotions.

  • To use digital tools to express emotions.

  • To be able to verbally express the experienced emotion using appropriate vocabulary in oral interactions.

  • To listen actively to others 

  • To analyze short videos or digital content to identify emotional expressions.

  • To respond respectfully to others’ emotions

  • To apply strategies to manage and communicate emotions in conflict situations.

  • To explore apps or games that promote emotional regulation.

  • To reflect on one’s own attitudes towards others.

  • To propose ways to show empathy in daily life.

  • To create multimedia materials  that represent empathic behaviors.

  • To reflect on how technology can help emotional understanding.
