Final product and school television
Hello everyone and welcome back to our blog! ππ
Today we reflected on how we decided at the idea of the final product. Initially, we wanted students to explore emotions and empathy through small group activities. Then we realized that creating a short video could be an effective way to represent emotional challenges using a technological resource. With the teacher's guidance, they will plan and record their videos, using their imagination and teamwork to make the situations realistic and meaningful.
However, we also wanted to connect the final product to one of the project's topics: "make a proposal for digital school newspaper or school television". We thought it would be interesting for the videos created by the students to be part of a school television program. This way, the videos would not only be shared in class but could also be presented as episodes on a digital platform for the entire school community.
This idea makes the final product more motivating. Students will feel that their work is not just an exercise but something they can share with others. It also gives us the opportunity to think about how to organize the videos, how to present them, and how to integrate them into a collaborative project. Reflecting on this, we see that the process helps us combine emotional learning with digital creativity.
