Final product

Hello everyone! 😊 

After reflecting on our goals and ideas, we have already created the final idea for our final product. Now we'll tell you what it's about and how we developed it.

The final product of this project will be a short video created by students in small groups. In these videos, they will represent situations where they face different emotional challenges and show positive ways to deal with them. With the teacher’s support, students will plan and record their videos during one of the sessions, using imagination and teamwork to make the situations realistic and meaningful. They will be encouraged to include dialogues, expressions, and actions that reflect real emotions and strategies such as asking for help, staying calm, or communicating effectively.

In the following session, all groups will watch the videos together and take part in a group discussion. This reflection time will allow students to share what they learned, identify the emotions represented, and comment on the solutions proposed. The aim is to reinforce emotional understanding, empathy, and respect for others’ feelings.

In addition, we have decided to connect this final product with one of the topics of the project: Make a proposal for a digital school newspaper or school television. For this reason, the videos will be presented as part of a “school television.” This makes the activity more motivating, since students will feel that their work is not only for the classroom but also something that can be shared with the school community.

Hello everyone! 💗 We are back with a second lesson — and this time we’re continuing our journey into emotions with the focus on the behaviours. To start this lesson we will use the picture book ,,The Colour Monster” by Anna Llenas. This book will guide children to recognise, name, and talk about feelings and also start recognise what actions might influence the feelings.  As the story is read by the teacher, children pause to think about what different feelings look like, how they might feel in their own bodies, and what they do when emotions get big or confusing. After that children will be given a writing worksheet to complete in pairs. In this way they will practice their writing skills.  The lesson will end with a reflection about digital safety. Hello everyone! 👋 Today we want to share our next lesson, which focuses on empathy, emotions, and positive behaviour through the visualisation of the short film Joy and Heron . This activity helps children recognise feelings in others and understand different perspectives. We’ll start with a short discussion about empathy. Students answer questions like What does empathy mean? and How does it feel to show or receive empathy? They will look up the definition online to build interest and digital literacy. Next, they will watch The Joy Story: Joy and Heron . As they watch, children pay close attention to the characters’ expressions and actions. Afterwards, they answer a few questions to check their understanding and discuss how the dog showed empathy, why kindness matters, and some other questions. Hello everyone and welcome back to our blog!!👋💘. Today we're going to explain lesson one of our learning situation. In our first lesson we will explore emotions through different activities that combine language learning and technology. We will begin by watching a short video from Inside Out to introduce the topic and help us think about how emotions are shown in everyday life.
