School television as an educational tool

Hello everyone, welcome back to our blog!! 👋👋

After choosing school television as a resource for our final product, we wanted to do some research to discover technical information about its use.

In recent years, the idea of creating a school television has gained attention as a way to combine digital creativity with educational goals. Academic research shows that educational television can be a powerful tool to support learning.

Studies highlight that television used in educational contexts provides structured opportunities for students to express themselves and engage with real-world issues. For example, research from EdTech Hub emphasizes that educational television can foster motivation and participation when students are actively involved in producing content, rather than only consuming it.

Also, research indicates that educational television can positively influence academic achievement, especially among disadvantaged students, when it is designed with clear pedagogical goals. This aligns with the idea of using school television not only as a creative project but also as a structured learning situation that supports emotional education, empathy, and respect for diversity.

In conclusion, the academic literature supports the integration of school television as a meaningful educational practice. It combines digital innovation, emotional learning, and communication skills, offering students a space to represent challenges, share solutions, and build empathy through collective reflection.
